Call for Nominations
The Conservation Corps Newfoundland and Labrador (CCNL) is seeking new members to join its Board of Directors. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape an organization dedicated to empowering youth and communities to embrace, conserve, and enhance our environment and diverse cultures.
Our Board operates as a collaborative team, with each member contributing unique skills and experiences.
We are currently seeking individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills in areas such as:
Rural Representation
Indigenous Representation
Corporate Communications
Youth Development & Employment
Community Development
Environmental Conservation
Cultural Heritage Conservation
We especially encourage applications from people with lived experience in equity-deserving communities, including those outside the Northeast Avalon, Indigenous and racialized persons, 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals, persons with disabilities, and immigrants.
Time Commitment:
Board members should be able to commit 3-5 hours per month to CCNL activities over a 3-year term. Most Board and Committee meetings will be held over lunch from 12:00–1:00 PM.
